Some fairy doors suggest a fairy lives nearby. This one makes it feel like an established neighbourhood. The stone arch surround is painted in weathered grey with individual block detailing, and the pink timber door within it has a painted wood grain, a brass ring knocker at the centre and a gold barrel lock to one side. A horizontal timber brace runs across the lower half of the door, held in place with gold studs. Someone has clearly put thought into the security arrangements.
Climbing up and over the arch are pink poppy-like flowers with green leaves and vines - on one side a small purple butterfly perches among them, and a larger glitter-dusted pink butterfly sits prominently at the top of the arch. More flowers grow in clusters to the left of the door, their stems rising from the grassy base. Three pink toadstools with white stems and glitter-dusted caps stand at either side - two smaller ones to the left and a larger, rounder one to the right, each one catching the light with a soft shimmer.
The base is finished in painted green grass with small pink flowers scattered throughout, giving the piece a natural, garden-floor quality. The piece is self-standing and requires no wall mounting - simply place it at the base of a tree, against a pot, tucked into a garden bed, or displayed on a shelf or windowsill indoors.
At 12 cm tall it has real presence without being overwhelming. The kind of piece that anchors a fairy garden scene or holds its own as a standalone display.

indoor or outdoor use. To protect the beautiful paint work, spray fairy garden
pieces with a colorless water sealer when leaving them outside. Remember to
bring them inside if they are exposed to harsh winter conditions.
