The box itself is shaped like a butterfly in profile. A border of tiny pearl-like beading traces the lid edge, and a delicate scrollwork detail sits at the centre. The base is finished with a painted grass edge. The lid lifts away to reveal a small storage space inside - just the right size for rings, earrings, a baby tooth, or any small treasure worth keeping.
The sleeping fairy herself is dressed in soft pink with a flowing dress and glitter detailing, resting her head on a small pillow with a tiny flower at her cheek.
